Level of Care Assessment and ConsultationIf you or someone you know is exhibiting behaviors or lifestyles that are causing concern, PACE can help by providing assessments which may include drug and alcohol evaluation, psychological testing, psycho-social assessment, and laboratory drug screening. Intensive Outpatient ProgramMorning and evening groups available. The PACE Intensive Outpatient Program is a comprehensive individualized behavior-based treatment approach that branches away from the structured time-based I.O.P. programs emphasizing patient progress and patient behavior, not completion of a pre-determined number of sessions. As well, there is no tiered phase system, but a well-orchestrated primary group structure, surrounded by a series of focus groups, offering a menu of therapeutic topics directly corresponding to patient needs. Thus, treatment addresses the patient needs, instead of the patient meeting the program needs. Features of the PACE I.O.P.
Partial Hospital ProgramThe Partial Hospital Program, or "Day Treatment" as it is sometimes called, consists of day-long substance abuse therapy from 9:30am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. The Partial Hospital Program is utilized as a transition from inpatient treatment to the Intensive Outpatient Program, providing the full continuum of care; or as an initial step to recovery for those unable to attend an inpatient treatment center, but who are medically appropriate. The Partial Hospital Program provides the intensity and therapeutic benefits of an inpatient treatment center stay without the cost of an overnight stay. Stabilization is the focus of the Partial Hospital Program, with emphasis upon helping patients develop recovery tools to reduce stress and improve their coping skills. Average length of stay is from five to ten days, but is based on individual need. Persons graduating from the Partial Hospital Treatment Program move on to the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. Family ProgramPACE offers an educational therapy support group for family members who have a chemically dependent family member. The chemically dependent person does not suffer alone; all members of the family are affected. Often, family members feel confused, angry, worthless, hopeless, helpless, guilty and lonely. The Family Therapy Support Group offers family members the opportunity to begin to recover from their own silent pain. The primary goal of the Family Group is to provide education about chemical dependency as a disease and its effects upon the addicted member and the family. Also, to restore healthy thinking, rebuild lost self-esteem and assertiveness. Individual TreatmentThe PACE staff is comprised of highly skilled clinical professionals prepared to treat a variety of personal problems and life difficulties. Clinicians are also available for consultation and assessment when the problems or solutions are unclear. Continuing Care ProgramPACE offers a weekly therapy group to recovering chemically dependent persons who have completed an intensive recovery treatment program. After receiving an abundance of information and therapy regarding the dynamics of addiction and recovery, the chemically dependent person must apply the knowledge to daily living. The small continuing care group experience provides an opportunity for members to share their fears, challenges, and successes of recovery, to offer each other support and feedback, and to continue the practice of honest self-evaluation which is so critical to long term sobriety.
